Onboarding

From demo to go-live, Corp Docs onboarding is designed to make setup feel clear, practical and supported.

We guide your firm through the key steps so your ATO connection, client data, integrations, templates, branding and secure delivery workflow are ready before you start using CorpDocs.

Simple, Supported Onboarding for Accounting Firms

Getting started with Corp Docs is designed to be practical, structured and easy to follow.

We work with your firm step by step to get everything set up properly — from the initial demo through to workflow configuration, secure client delivery and go-live.

The aim is to make sure your firm is properly set up to receive ATO documents, connect your systems, send documents securely, save them correctly and start using Corp Docs with confidence.

A clear process from demo to go-live

CorpDocs onboarding follows a structured process designed for accounting practice workflows:

Demo

We start with a demonstration of how Corp Docs works and how it fits into your firm’s ATO correspondence process. This gives your team a chance to see the workflow in action, ask questions and decide how Corp Docs would work within your practice.

Contracts & Billing

Once the firm is ready to move forward, contracts and billing are finalised.
This step confirms the setup, commercial details and onboarding commencement so the implementation can move ahead smoothly.

Refining Data Set

Next, your firm reviews and refines your client data. This may include checking your client list, updating email addresses and mobile numbers, and making sure the information is accurate enough to support document linking, secure delivery and workflow processing.

Integrations

We then connect the systems your firm uses, such as the ATO, Xero, XPM, FYI or SharePoint.
This helps CorpDocs work with your existing practice data, document storage and workflow.
The goal is to make sure your integrations are set up properly before your team goes live.

Workflow Set Up & Templates / Branding

We then set up the parts of Corp Docs that control how your firm communicates with clients.
This includes brand setup, email setup, SMS password setup, template setup and secure delivery settings.
The goal is to make sure your client communication looks professional and using your preferred wording.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does onboarding take?

The timing depends on your firm’s client data, integrations, templates and how quickly setup items are confirmed. Some firms may be ready faster, while others may need more time to refine client data, confirm settings or customise templates before go-live.

What does our firm need to do during onboarding?

Your firm will need to confirm your client data, contact details, preferred workflow, branding, template wording, user access and integration requirements. Corp Docs guides the setup process, but your firm remains responsible for confirming the data and settings are accurate.

Do we need our client data ready before onboarding?

Your client data does not need to be perfect before the first discussion, but it does need to be reviewed and refined before go-live. This includes checking client names, email addresses and mobile numbers so documents can be linked and sent correctly.

Can Corp Docs help if we do not use Xero or Xero Practice Manager?

Yes. Firms that do not use Xero or Xero Practice Manager can still use Corp Docs. Clients can be added manually or imported in bulk as part of setup.

What integrations can be set up during onboarding?

Depending on your firm’s systems, onboarding may include ATO connection setup, Xero, Xero Practice Manager, FYI and SharePoint. The purpose is to help Corp Docs fit into your existing practice workflow.

Can we customise the email wording and templates?

Yes. During onboarding, your firm can set up branding, email wording, SMS password settings, secure delivery settings and document templates. This helps client communication look professional and use your preferred wording.

Will our team be trained before go-live?

Yes. Your team will have access to instruction manuals that explain how to use the CorpDocs workflow, including reviewing documents, sending them securely, saving records and tracking what has happened.

We also offer phone and email support to help your team through setup questions, workflow use and go-live support.
